Simon Burrett is the cofounder and managing partner of The Foundry, one of Australia's go to advertising agencies for brands looking to transform.
Since The Foundry's inception, in 2006, the business he founded with Ian Brown and Ron Parker has grown in reputation, stature... and dollars (The Foundry's business has grown by well over 100% in its first two years).
Simon is an accomplished brand strategist and business manager who has enjoyed a long history working at the senior level of some of Australia's leading advertising agencies.
Simon founded the WPP agency that successfully launched German retailer ALDI into Australia after which he was recruited by Clemenger as the founding managing director of CHE in Sydney.
His impressive work saw him appointed to the board of Clemenger BBDO Sydney in 2002 before he moved back to Melbourne and joined the board of CHE Melbourne.
Simon joined the Ideas Group in 2005 where he teamed up with Creative Director Ian Brown to re]launch The Ideas Group as The Foundry in March 2006.
After rebranding and reinvigorating the business Simon Burrett is now at the helm of one of Australia's most exciting and innovative agencies with an impressive portfolio
of award winning work and an ever growing client list.
