Martin Nally

Martin Nally is HRA's founder and principal.
Martin has been an HR practitioner for over 25 years. He joined Coles Myer Limited in November 2003 and has held a number of GM HR positions. Prior to Coles Myer, Martin spent 3 years as National Personnel Manager with the Mayne Group.
FMCG experience was gained during 6 years with Kraft Foods Limited where he held the position of Director Human Resources (Aust - NZ). His early years were spent in the Mining Industry where Martin held several senior HR/ER roles with Pasminco Ltd (now Zinifex), the world's largest zinc producer, spanning a period of 10 years.
He is Founder and MD of HR Anywhere - a Human Resources Service Company, offering People solutions to business. HRA represent the new generation of HR, focusing on providing the People Support that business needs. HRA offers services from total outsourcing of the HR Function to project engagement and strategic advice.
Martin has extensive experience in the areas of negotiation, mediation and counselling within the HR area. He is an accredited mentor with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a recognised and respected Executive Coach and Mentor working at all levels within an organisation.
He holds degrees in Economics (University of Tasmania) and Business Studies (Victoria College). He is also a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, a past AHRI State President in Tasmania, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Insurance and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
Martin is an Executive Committee member of ASHRR (Aust Senior HR Roundtable) and is a member of RMIT's Advisory Board on management and he is Chairman of the Board at St Kevin's College, Toorak.
Martin is an enthusiast for improving the people dimension of business. He has a wife and four children and has a passion for family, fun, the Wallabies and the Melbourne Football Club.
